Looooong day ...

In total, I spent 12+ hours in the office today. Woke up at about 5:30am [4:30am if you don't count daylight savings], however I couldn't go back to sleep. So after 20 minutes of tossing & turning, I got ready for work. Left the house at about 6:30am & reached the office by 7:00am.

Along the way, I stopped by McDonald's for a takeaway breakfast. I wanted a 'Big breakfast' with an extra sausage patty however they don't serve that anymore. Oh well ... so I settled for a sausage & egg McMuffin.

Felt rather lethargic throughout the day however I managed to get lots done. All in all, I left at about 7:45pm. So why the long hours? Well, I wanted to work some extra hours so I could take a half day off sometime this week. Considering my office closes on the 22nd of this month & the amount of work yet to be completed, I've got a few loooong days ahead of me ...

Oh well, I might do the same again tomorrow ... depends if I manage to wake up that early again.
