What fish was that?

[The conversation below actually occurred last Sunday evening ... for real.]

A little background first. My younger brother is wanting to host a small dinner at a chinese restaurant & a friend of his knew the chef. So they went to have a chat with the chef to decide on the menu. Later that evening, my brother brought back a list of the dishes he's thinking of ordering.

Mum: Cold platter ...
Mum: Spinach & crab meat soup ... [haven't heard of this one before]
Mum: ass ... assh*le fish ...
Me: ????? ...
Me: What did you say? [Curiosity got the better of me & I took the list to have a closer look]

On the list was S/S whole fish, try saying it out loud ... see what I mean? The 'S/S' means 'sweet & sour' ... so for a second there I thought we were going to eat something really weird ...

Forget the sharkfin soup!!! We have 'S whole' fish!!!

Side note: The time difference between the east coast & Perth can be a good thing too. Found out who won Aussie idol without having to watch all the show ... hahahaha ...
