The wedding ...

Weddings are interesting & rank high on people's social calendar. Having spoken to one or two people about an upcoming wedding, it seems like they're going to go all out fashion wise. For men it is quite simple. Break out the usual suit, pick a shirt / tie & you're done.

For women however it is entirely a different story which can take months to plan. What to wear? What colour to wear? Jacket or no jacket? Which dress? What pattern? What shoes? Which bag? Do I have matching dress / bag / shoes? Do I wear make-up? How much make up? Nude or red [lipstick I mean]? It goes on & on & on ....

Absolutely the worse thing that could happen is that another female guest wears exactly the same thing as you do. I think at that stage, they'd feel much better in jeans & a t-shirt. As for us guys, if we see another guy in the same suit / tie / shirt / shoes, we give the other dude a high-five & compliment each other on our good tastes.

Boy ... am I glad I'm a guy ... ladies, I hope my post doesn't stress you out too much!

Hey Louise, how are things?
Wedding jeans? Interesting concept, I googled 'wedding jeans' & this is what I found.
Can't say that I have any credible knowledge of fashion, just like to rant once in a while.

Yes, keep it simple I say ... then again, one of my favourite bloggers karencheng.com.au recently attended a medieval wedding. There are links to some pictures at her site.
