Day at Araluen ...

The family took time out to have a picnic at Araluen Botanic Park today. I almost didn't make it. [You see, I received a note from my family last night saying that they're going to visit the park and wanted me to come along. I replied back "If I'm awake, I'll go". I meant, if I manage to wake up before you all leave, then I'll go. My sister (whom I love very much) took it upon herself to knock on my door and wake me from my slumber. Gaarrhhhhh!!!].

Anyway, clear blue skies greeted the day and that also meant the morning was rather chilly. A visit to the park can turn out to be quite expensive, $8 per person and there was 8 of us (consisting of my family and brother's wife's family) which turned out to be a rather hefty $64 dollars. Been a little preoccupied with work and home recently so it was good to get out and enjoy the fresh air. To feel the warm sun on my skin was great and as you can tell, I brought my camera with me. If you're planning to visit, the best blooms are during late winter or early spring so that is probably a week or two away. Hope you all enjoy the photos!

Hi Liz, it was nice to see the tulips and be out in the sunshine, so the loss of sleep was worth it. Don't get too excited though, might end up expecting too much.

Hey anonymous, the loss of sleep wasn't too bad, still managed to at least 6 hours shut eye. Of course if a jap girl was involved, why bother sleeping at all???

Woahhhhhhh, the pictures are nice!! It is worth waking up to. Your sister must have loved you very much too, otherwise why would she wake you up?? She could have left you sleeping so she can have some peace without the lil' brother. Just kidding lar.
Jessica Alba, jennifer hawkins and now.... jap girls??? What's next on the menu??

Hello -- i shall remain anonymous --, well ... my sister shows her love rather strangely ... often at my expense. Actually they just needed someone to take pictures and since I have the 'big camera', I was it. All in all, it was nice to get out there. What else is on the menu, how about Korean?!?!?!?
