Wayne Cordeiro

What a pastor ... what a story teller ...
Was very blessed to hear him speak at the R^se conference on Friday night, [which meant I missed out on the Left Behind movie night ... oh well ...] he certainly knows how to tell a story. During the sermon, I noticed that I couldn't see him clearly ... well, I was tearing ... his stories really tugged at the heart strings ... was touched.
The good news is that he will be speaking at Church Together on Sunday night, 6:30pm at the Supreme Court Gardens. Will be praying that the weather will be good and the night warm.
I bought 2 of his books at the conference and am going to buy some of his sermons from his website. MP3s for download for only US$1 (AUS$1.33), now that is a fantastic price with makes it very accessible for everyone.
Be blessed everyone!!!

really? i went to the wed n thur's public service n the speaker for both session was Bayless Conley. He was a great story teller too, n most of the time he is sharing on his own testimony..he shared lots on the power of the Holy Spirit and miracles..
looking forward to tomorrow's church 2gather event. hope everyone be blessed!
I went for the 8pm sessions on all nights. Wednesday was Bayless Conley, Thursday was Phil Pringle and Friday was Wayne Cordeiro. The timing was great too ... times are rather stressful at work with deadlines coming closer and work that keeps on accumulatiing. Was therapeutic to just release after a day of stress and sit in His presence. Amazing stuff!! The R^se theme for next year will be "Grace", guest speakers will include Sy Rogers. Looking forward to that too.
it was a great night at CHURCH TOGETHER!! thank God for the beautiful weather, indeed His presence is strong with such a big crowd of His ppl together..
btw y we have to bring a torch??
Ps Wayne Cordeiro is indeed very very gd.just feel so warm to see his SMILING face at all time, even when he talk..such a great man of God.. thanks ~g~ for the church website. He has a blog too.
gd stuff..
Hey Helen :P [do many ppl call you that?],
Yes, he was fantastic wasn't he? It was also good to see glimpses of his church, must be an amazing place.
I agree with you that he does have the warmest smile. There is a certain charisma, a love. What a testimony he is of being the salt of the earth and light of the world.
If everyone is able to show the same joy and love as he does, we could win our friends over to Christ in no time.
As for the website, when I find something this good, it is impossible not to share!!! :)
