A Minor Miracle ...
[Can miracles be called 'minor'?] After hearing about practising Faith from Ps Phil Pringle [see previous post], I actually gave it a shot, in a small way.
I have 2 dogs, a shitzu x maltese and a lhasa apso. The male is 'Tomo' [short for 'tomodachi' ie friend in japanese'] and the female is 'Tomei' [we just changed 'tomo' and replaced the end with 'mei' since it is female]. They're getting close to 10 years old [so that is about 70 dog years] and as they grow older, 'Tomei' is having health issues.
She has been getting skin ailments where she would lose a patch of hair on an area and a sticky yellow like paste would form on the skin. Obviously it has been irritating her and we got some ointment from the vet. Recently one particular patch of skin was not responding to the ointment so I said a prayer for her while holding her. [In effect, I was 'laying hands' on her as I prayed] While doing that, doubt did enter my mind. I thought to myself "You're praying for a dog???". Anyway, I quickly brushed the thought away and continued to pray by Faith.
The next day when I checked up on her, [Praise the Lord] her skin was cleared. So that's my minor miracle for this week.

btw i prayed for my dog in m'sia last month over a period of time,fr australia all the way crossing the Indian ocean n etc(so i cant lay hand on her).she is guagua named after my sis, n is a 'lakia' dog (which i dont know the breed etc..ye what to u expect..) she was knocked by car, n the bones of the 2 legs behind were broken..she is only 2 months old. i was very sad.coz i cant imagine a life of a dog w/o legs behind in m'sia. long story. if u want to know the details, we can talk abt it :P honestly, i was doubting (as i thk of getting wheels for her)but on the other hand i put faith in Him. n thankfully, a miracle happened.she was healed now--not just walking, but running..

Thanks for sharing ... so that confirms it ... we can pray for dogs. Unfortunately we had a dog in M`sia which died very young ... for some reason they like sleeping under parked cars, so when dad reversed one day ... you know what happened. Behind our house is a play ground, so my siblings and I buried it and put a cross there some more!!! I wonder if our neighbour freaked out to see a cross in their backyard :P
I think my dad took the cross away.
hey ~g~,of course we can pray for dogs..my dad did that too! he pray for my dog every nite...but apparently one of them died recently..*sob sob*
