New job description: Miracle worker ...

During the course of this week, my work load increased from 3 projects to 5, all with a deadline of ASAP. Much credit goes to my manager who is great at delegating, my blood pressure is thankful.

"Why didn't you say 'no'?", you may ask ... well, my manager has a knack for describing my projects in very simple terms, making it look like they are all very easy to do. Oh, he volunteered me for one of the projects too. No prior discussion, just an e-mail to another manager in the US mentioning '~g~ can do this'. I only found out because I was CC'ed the e-mail ... *groan*.

Sometimes I just wish I has a simpler job ... you know the kind where all you do is follow a set of instructions. As a programmer, one usually has to conjure up something out of nothing ... sounds very much like a miracle eh?
